LABST 212: Effective Meetings & Parliamentary Procedure

 How to build effective meetings that accomplish the group's goals; the rules of parliamentary procedure which make for effective meetings.

This class is a half unit elective in the certificate and AA degree programs.  It is usially offered in the Fall semester.

    1.   Identify the characteristics of an effective meeting and the rules of parliamentary procedures;

    2.   Demonstrate the ability to conduct orderly meetings; and

    3.   Inform others of the rules that a meeting is following.
