Mondays LABOR STUDIES 012: COLLECTIVE BARGAINING (Code L0325) 6-9pm - Studies the structure, content, strategies and relationships between the parties engaged in collective bargaining. Tuesdays LABOR STUDIES 015: LEADERSHIP & COMMUNICATIONS (Code L1516) 6-9pm - Develop the Skills needed to be a leader in today’s Labor & Community organizations. Learn to handle responsibilities, do planning, problem solving and communications abilities. Wednesdays LABOR STUDIES 016: RIGHTS IN WORKPLACE (code L1757) 6-9pm - Learn about your legal rights in the workplace in both non-union and union environments. Thursdays LABOR STUDIES 013: ECONOMICS FOR LABOR & COMMUNITY LEADERS (code L0424) 6-9pm - American and global economic forces impinging on employment, taxation, income distribution, public policy and collective bargaining. Alt. Sats. LABOR STUDIES 214A-D: LABOR HERITAGE/CHORUS (code L0887) Starts 1/20 from 12:30-5pm - Study of labor history through songs. 3 Sats. LABOR STUDIES 201: STEWARD'S TRAINING (code L1026) 4/14, 4/21 & 4/28 - Examines rights, responsibilities and duties of union shop stewards.
