| Laney College offers a wide range of courses for singers. Instructors Lucy Kinchen and John Reager offer voice classes which introduce singers to the physiology of singing, as well as stage basics and song interpretation. Please refer to the on-line catalogue for current class schedules. The Laney College Choir is open to all students and performs a wide variety of music in styles including Spirituals, Folk Songs, Jazz, Classical and more. Singers who have completed 1-2 years of theory/musicianship classes may take the Sight Singing course in order to learn to sight read music. |
